Step Device
Use plastic bottles partially filled with sand for older ones (can make small or large weights this way).  Canned goods will also work for light weights.

Use and old pair of panty hose or children's tights!  Simply step on the waist and pull on the legs.  Whala...free and effective resistance bands.

Use the bottom step of your indoor stairs or outdoor entry steps.  It's just as effective as the purchased gear.
